Albert "Al" Edward Wood

Albert Edward Wood, 68, of Garland, Texas, passed away at his home on, Friday, October 21, 2016 after a long and brave battle with cancer. Al, as he was known by his family and friends, was born and raised in El Paso, TX to the late Albert Wood and Barbara Wood, both of El Paso. Al proudly served 6 years in the US Navy from 1969 to 1976 Al was survived by his wife, Martha Wood of Garland, Texas; three daughters, Wendy Lenhard of Columbia, South Carolina; Marissa Kennedy of Wylie, Texas; and Andrea White of Wylie, Texas; two sons-in-law Dr. Matthew Lenhard of Columbia, South Carolina; and Jerry Kennedy of Wylie, Texas. He was the proud Papa of three grandsons, Colton Kennedy of Yuma, Arizona; Garett Larsen of College Station, Texas; and John “Jack” Lenhard of Columbia, South Carolina. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Wood of Tucson, Arizona; and sister, Carol Culver of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
