Allen Bettis was born in Greensboro, N.C. He served his country during the Viet Nam War in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his son: Allen Lowery Bettis, III.;
daughter: Stephanie Michelle Bettis Gordon;
sister & brother in law: LaVada Diane Bettis Stuart & Ron Stuart.
Military Honors rendered by the U. S. Army and a Graveside Service, officiated by Rev. Kevin Strempke of First united Methodist Church in DeSoto will be held at 2:30 P. M. on Friday, November 6, 2015 P. M. (please line up in LANE "C" at 2:15 P. M.)
