Allison Morgan

Allison McBride Morgan, 77, of DeSoto, TX passed away in Dallas, TX on November 11, 2022 after her 34 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Allison was born in Dallas, TX on February 25, 1945 to Walter and Mary McBride. She was a lifelong resident of Dallas County, graduating from Sunset High School in 1963. She married James Morgan of Spiro, OK on August 30, 1963, living in Dallas until 1973 when they relocated to DeSoto, TX. Many people knew and loved Allison through her involvement in her children's activities such as Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the DeSoto band program. She was always open to an adventure and loved to have fun. Allison is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Morgan; son, Wayne Morgan; son, John Morgan and wife Lauri; daughter, Amy Morgan and husband Stephen Whitworth; grandchildren, Zach and Aaron Morgan, and Sadie and Seth Jordan; and a host of other family members and friends. There will not be a viewing or visitation. The family will gather for a private service. Memorial donations can be made in Allison's name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Cure HHT.
