Alphaeus Joseph, 72, was born on March 18, 1942 in Wesley Village, Dominica, West Indies.  He passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Methodist Charlton Hospital, Dallas, Texas.   He is survived by his wife: Eudora C. Joseph, Children: Greta Joseph, Leandra Joseph, Wendy Joseph, Nicol Joseph, Lyndon Joseph, Anthony Joseph, Jerome Joseph, Peter Joseph, John Joseph, Kethlyn Joseph, and Brenda Joseph.Grandchildren:  Shaniah Swanston, Keon Duberry, Shenatta Joseph, Nakisha Joseph, Uche Uko, Ijeoma Uko, Tiffany, Tenesha, and Jamal Joseph, Velma Bruney, great grandchildren: Terrell Williams, Keon Duberry, Jr., Kemia Duberry.Sisters: Albertha, Kedziah, Icilda, Gertrude, Linda, Hettie, Elmis, Olivette, and Euthelie Joseph, and Ethelyn Lundy.Brothers: Griffin, Amos, Cabo, Meritt and Arthur Joseph, and Stedman Alexander.Brother in law and special friend: Kimber Harry and another special friend: Graham Telemaque.The family will host a visitation from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home.There will be a visitation from Noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Methodist Church of the Disciple, 220 S. Cockrell Hill Rd., DeSoto, Texas 75115.  The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the Church  with Dr. Ouida F. Lee, officiating.   Cremation will follow.
