Alton Ray Clayton

93, of Cedar Hill, TX, a U S Army WWII Veteran in the 82nd Airborne, serving his country in Germany and Holland earned his Purple Heart, passed away on February 14, 2019. Mr. Clayton had retired from Interstate Batteries being the warehouse manager after 40 years.  He had several hobbies, including building birdhouses and mailboxes and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He is survived by his son:  Carl Ray Clayton, son & daughter in law:  David Alan Clayton & JoNell Simpson, daughter & son in law;  Rita Jo & Tommy Lopez, son:  Alton Paul Clayton, daughter & son in law:  Cindy & Jeff Bachelor; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.
