Anna Dee Hammett

Anna was born in Dallas, Texas to C. L. and Dorothy Brown Bateman. Anna was a member of Trinity Church in Cedar Hill. She had been a Tax Information officer for the State Comptroller. Anna is married to Major S. Hammett, her children are Cathy Beightol, Chris Lueck, Robert Hammett, Don Hammett, and Breanna Lueck, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters are Bobbie Holland and Johnnie Cooper and her brother is Bill Bateman. The family will gather from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Hennesy and James L. Hennesy will officiate. Interment will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville, Texas.
