Annette Wilkerson

Annette Wilkerson ,88, of Midlothian, formerly of De Soto, went to be with her lord and savior on March 6, 2020. She was born in Matador, TX on May 26, 1931 to Ernest and Ruby McWilliams. She attended school in White Flat, TX and soon pursued a career in the banking profession. She was a longtime resident of De Soto before moving to Cedar Creek Lake where she spent many summers with friends and family. Annette was charming, sweet and most of all, strong. If you knew her, you know her love and dedication to her family was unsurpassed. Her desire was to spend every moment with them, even in 100 degree weather at the lake or 30 degree weather at a football game. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wilkerson, son, Mac Wilkerson, Great Grandson, Hunter Wilkerson & sister, Ernestine Little. She is survived by her daughter in law, Sarah Wilkerson, grandsons; Jason & wife, Stacy Wilkerson, Kemp Wilkerson. Great Grandchildren; Lauren, Madi, Cody, Jay and Carter Wilkerson. Sister Ouida & husband, John Moore; and a host of cousins and nieces and nephews. The family will have a Time of Gathering in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home in De Soto on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 4- 6:00 P.M. Graveside Services will be held in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211 on Friday - April 03, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials or donations directed to The American Heart Association.
