Arlene Rose Tanalski

81, of DeSoto, TX passed away on August 12, 2018. Arlene Tanalski, soul of an artist was born on her parents first wedding anniversary and spent her life dedicated to education. She graduated from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with her Bachelors in Education and from The University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut with her Masters in Education. She endlessly dedicated her life to influencing and nurturing children including her own nieces and nephews. She spent over 40 years teaching elementary students in Stratford, Connecticut, Cleveland, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. She also had her own Montessori School in DeSoto, Texas. Arlene will be missed by many.She was preceded in death by her parents:  Eleanor & Joseph Tanalski;niece:  Kim Mercerand favorite brother in law:  Bill.Arlene is survived by her sister:  Eleanor Tanalski Sinclair;sister:  Diane Tanalski Kennedy;nieces & nephews:  Mary Otis, Joseph Sinclair, Michelle Wilkerson, Matthew Kennedy and  Aaron Kennedy;17 great nieces & nephews numerous great great nieces & nephews;aunt:  Anne Ackermanaunt:  Mary Jane Macker;numerous cousinsand two little dogs:  Lizzie & Nikki.Mass of Christian Burial with Entombment will be held in the Holy Redeemer Mausoleum, 1500 S. Westmoreland Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 on Saturday - September 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Tim Gollob, Celebrant.
