Arnold Leon Jones

Arnold Leon Jones was born on 28th February 1942, passed away on 17th February 2026, just shy of his 84th birthday.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, was the first child to Louie A. Jones and Polly Jones. He graduated from Aztec High School in Aztec, New Mexico, in 1960. The following year, in 1961 he married the love of his life Sarah Doshia Ashburn, beginning a partnership that would last a lifetime. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Florida where Arnold attended Miami Dade College and earned his degree in Hospitality in 1966.

Arnold was preceded in death by his wife S. Doshia Jones, parent Louie A. & Polly Jones and is survived by his only brother Bob Jones, his children Shari Eastwood & Scotty Jones (wife Tara A. Jones). His grandchildren Abby Leal (husband Lucas Leal), Ethan Eastwood (wife Darcy Eastwood), Nathan Eastwood (wife Baylee Eastwood), Seth Eastwood (wife Cheyenne Eastwood), Dakota Jones and Kenneth Mosley. He also leaves behind three cherished great-grandchildren: Audrey Mae Eastwood, Parker Eastwood and Carolynn Mosely.

A memorial visitation will be on Friday - February 27, 2026 at 10:00am., giving family an opportunity to visit with friends, followed by the service at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church DeSoto, located at 310 Roaring Springs, DeSoto, TX 75115.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church in memory of Arnold L. Jones.
