Arthur Ray Hobbs

84, of DeSoto, TX passed away on July 23, 2010 after many years of ill health. He was an honored WWII Veteran, respected businessman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and christian friend. He is survived by wife: Elizabeth, sons: Randy and Russell Hobbs, daughters: Cheryl Young and Joi Beth Wood, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister: Ruby Jo Teague and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 6 - 8:00 P.M. In Honor of His Life, Services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX. Pallbearers will be Charlie Middlebrook, Bobby Martin, Terry Tucker, Jeff Christianson, Dick Cody, David Box, Kip Wright, Honorary Pallbearers will be Dan Flaridy, Jon Buckingham, Claude Dewees, Al Christianson
