He is survived by his wife: Linda Cox; daughter & son in law: JoAnn & Ricky Carter; daughter & son in law: Terry & Rusty Pettycord; son: Joe Cox; son & daughter in law: Jeff & Courtney Cox; daughter & son in law: Belinda & Kenneth Ference; son: Greg Cox; grandchildren: Melissa, Lisa, Ashley, Steven, Will, Cassidy, Madison, Kaila, McKinley, John Austin & Peyton; several great grandchildren; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews and mother in law: Ethel Remedies. The family will receive friends at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Thursday - June 26, 2014 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:NOON. A Graveside Service will follow on the same day at 1:30 P.M. in the Rhodes Cemetery on Cockrell Hill Rd. (between Pleasant Run Rd. and Wintergreen Rd.) in DeSoto, TX with Bro. Dean Johnson, officiating. The family requests memorials or donations be made in Mr. Cox's name to the Restore The Glory Fund, Crossroads Baptist Church, 1520 W. Beltline Rd., Lancaster, TX 75146.
