Betty Jean Adams Pittman

83, of DeSoto, TX passed away on June 13, 2012. Betty retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 30 plus years of service. She is survived by her son: Bill Adams; son & daughter in law: Bob & Jeri Adams; grandchildren: Lindsay Adams & Blake Adams; sister: Glenna Sparkman and a host of nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 12:NOON until 1:00 P.M. at which time the Funeral Service will begin in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Bro. David Fortenbury, officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Cemetery, Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials or donations be made in Betty’s name to the American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Frwy., Dallas, TX 75247
