Betty Box

d. December 5, 2015

Betty went home to be with Jesus, Saturday, December 5th surrounded by the family she loved so much. She was born Betty Kuykendall in 1934 and grew up in Dallas, Texas where she met and married the love of her life, Clyde H. Box. They shared a very special love for each other that everyone around them could see. Betty found so much joy in being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a devoted Pastor's Wife for many years where she taught the Joy Class, started the Women's Ministry, the Alloi Fellowship, taught young people about etiquette and was a beautiful example of the Proverbs 31 woman.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and encouraged her children and grandchildren daily with His word.  She was a prayer warrior that prayed daily for so many.  She had the gift of hospitality and loved when all her family was together eating, laughing and loving on each other. She was a remarkable woman who loved many and was a blessing to all.  She has left a indelible mark on everyone whose life she touched. She is survived by her family that she loved with all her heart which includes: Husband:  Clyde H. Box Children:  Sharon Carol and husband Clint, Vickie Tate and husband Kyle, Debbie Whiddon and husband Jerry, Tammy Griffin and husband Gerald. Grandchildren:  Tiffany Carol, Kim Meier, Travis Tate, Holly Dodson, Meghan Armstrong, Clyde Whiddon, Amy Vardeman, Amber Weaver, Chase Whiddon, Betty Ashley Warmuth, Brittany Griffin And 20 Great Grandchildren My Betty How can I use mere words to tell Of the love for you I feel. The birds should sing it from every tree On every highest hill.   It would take the moon and stars to proclaim How my heart fills with love At the mention of your name.   Our life together has been long and true But it seems like only a moment For the love I have for you.   A wife, a lover, a mother, a friend You are these and much much more. You are tender, loving and kind You are the lady that I adore.   Written for Betty by her loving husband Clyde H. Box
