Betty June Davis

81, of DeSoto, TX passed away on August 20, 2015. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband: James Deryl Davis and her son: James Deryl Davis, Jr. She is survived by her daughter & son in law: Kathy & Rick Mashburn; grandchildren: Shayne Wayne, Megan Embry, Jennifer Davis Malaniuk and Robert Malaniuk; great grandchildren: Taylor Wayne, Peyton Wayne & Bailey Malaniuk; #2 daughter: Marilyn Terrel; numerous nieces and nephews including Dennis & wife Kate Brooks. The family will receive friends on Tuesday - August 25, 2015 in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 A.M. (same day) with Bro. Mike Rucker, officiating. Interment will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials or donations be made in Betty's name to the Walk To End Alzheimer's Fundraiser, c/o Lyndsey @ Midtowne Assisted Living and Memory Care 469-672-1400. Those honored to be serving as pallbearers are Shayne Wayne, Taylor Wayne, Bryan Northcutt, Dennis Smart, Willie Wilson and Dennis Brooks.
