Betty Jane Pollock

Betty Jane was born to William Grafton and Estella Barbara Broyles Brown in Cedar Hill, Texas. She attended school in Ceadar Hill and graduated in 1943. She worked for Western Union, Sears Roebuck, and insurance company, and Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad from August 1945 until retiring in February of 1985. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. She married J. D. Pollock on April 23, 1948. He preceded her in death. They had one son, Wendall Ray Pollock, and she is also survived by a sister, Lottie Foster of Chattanooga, TN, and a number of nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 until the Services at 11 A. M. at First Baptist Church, 602 W. Beltline Rd., Cedar Hill, TX 75104, officiated by Rev. Scott Blair. Interment will follow at Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville. Memorials donations are encouraged to First Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.
