Betty Jo Price, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born on September 19, 1930, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Lester S. Price, who passed away on April 13, 2001. Together, they created a life filled with joy and devotion. Betty’s nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Odom, who held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her two children, Ricky Price and his wife Debra Price of Mansfield, Texas, and Judy Keeler and her husband Greg Keeler of DeSoto, Texas. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Jason Huffaker and his wife Brianna, Stephanie Schlegel and her husband Anthony, Christine Smith and her husband Joshua, and Heather Ramirez and her husband Erik. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren: Tyler, Jacob, Jaicie, Hunter, Faith, Samuel, Weston, Hudson, Lucas, Eliana, & Logan and great-great-granddaughter: Mila. Betty enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. The color red brightened her world and brought her great happiness. She found joy in being outdoors where she loved watching birds, especially red cardinals. Betty would spend hours working crossword puzzles. She was also a devoted companion to her canine friends Taz and Pepper throughout the years. Above all, Betty cherished spending time with her family. She was affectionately known as Nana, and she had a special way of creating lasting memories for everyone. Her favorite was the cherished tradition of hosting Christmas Eve, where her love and warmth brought everyone together in a way only Nana could do. Betty had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Her belief in God brought her strength, comfort, and hope throughout her life. Her family takes solace in the knowledge that she now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father. Betty Price will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kind heart, loving nature, and enduring spirit will forever be remembered and cherished. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the Graveside Service. The Graveside Service will held on Friday - June 30, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville, TX with Mr. Anthony Schlegel, officiating.
