Beverly J. Koch

We lost our precious mother on March 16, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in 1924 at Corsicana, TX, she attended schools in Dallas and Denton, TX. She was a wartime bride, having married U.S. Marine Sergeant Charles M. "Maxie" Koch in 1944. Married for 66 years, they settled in Dallas after the war. They moved to Duncanville, TX in 1961. She had a passion for gardening and worked at Pursley's Discount Center in Duncanville. She is survived by son Tom Koch and his wife Jane of DeSoto, TX; daughter Kathryn Koch of Duncanville, TX; granddaughter Kristin Goodman and her husband Griffin of Tyler, TX; three great grandsons Grayson Zelick, Graham Maxwell and Garner Spencer Goodman plus nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Saturday - March 19, 2016 from 12:30 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. Graveside Services will follow (on the same day) at 2:00 P.M. in the Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 S. Cedar Hill Rd., Duncanville, TX 75137 with Pastor Larry Williams, officiating.
