Billie C. Neighbors

Billie Clydene (Wood) Neighbors, 87, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Waxahachie Texas. She was born on October 20, 1933 in San Saba County Texas to Clyde Wood and Willie Mae Brown Wood. Billie married Rev. W.J. Neighbors on Dec. 1, 1949 in Brady, Texas and they were married for 37 years, until his death in 1987. During her 37 years of marriage to the late Rev. W.J. Neighbors, they served together in 8 churches in the states of Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas. Billie is survived by her family that she loved with all of her heart. Her children: Danny Neighbors, Jan McCormick and husband, Larry; Steve Neighbors and wife, Deb; Kristi Felty and husband, Darin. Grandchildren: Monty Huston and husband, Eric; Luci Schulz and husband, Marcus; Trevor Neighbors; Farrah Tate and husband, Travis; Lindy Waltrip and husband, Jarrod; Justin McCormick, Josh Holman, Hali Wylie and husband, Cody; Peyton Felty and wife, McKinley; and Ally Felty. Great Grandchildren: Clayton and Dalton Huston; Ashton and Cal Schulz; Addi Neighbors; Harrison, Holden and Hunter Tate; Jace, Landon, Jenson, Mag and Yesenia Waltrip; Jackson, Kennedy and Carter Wylie. Siblings: Nelda Sue Northcutt and Don Wood Sister in law and beloved friend: Mary Neighbors And numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Willie Mae Wood and her husband, Rev. W.J. Neighbors. She was a loving wife, a beloved mother, a devoted Nannie to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and a faithful friend that will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday - January 30, 2021 at First Red Oak, 320 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, TX 75154 with Rev. Darin Felty, officiating.
