Billy C. Long

Billy Charles Long, 84, born in Paris, TX, and longtime resident of DeSoto, TX, died of heart failure on February 15, 2022, surrounded by his family. His wife of 67 years survives him, Nella Hart Long, son Billy Ray Long, daughter Rhonda Long Rast, grandchildren Jesse Long, Courtney Long, Ryan Puente, and Lauren Nering. Great-grandchildren Kinsley, Hugo and Victor. Billy worked with American Greetings and DeSoto Police Department for many years and owned properties in Dallas as a landlord in partnerships and as an entrepreneur. Although we will miss him, we can rejoice that he now rests in the arms of his savior and look forward to seeing him again in the resurrection. Please pray for safe travels for all who will make the trip to his memorial. Memorial Service will be held on April 2, 2022, from 11-2 at Cold Springs Church of Christ, 2710 W. Main St., Lancaster, TX 75146 with Minister Mark Hancock, officiating.
