Billy Wayne Reeves, 82, of Waxahachie, and a DeSoto resident and business owner of Reeves Electric for many years, and a Dallas Fireman, passed away on the evening of August 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley Reeves of Waxahachie, TX, children: Philip and his wife: Carla Reeves of Waxahachie, David and his wife: Cristel Reeves of Plano, Kathy Vincent of Trophy Club, Ronnie and his wife: Lei Ann Reeves of Ovilla, Donnie Reeves of Arlington, and Shirley's two daughters: Vicky and her husband: Mike Wiley of Richardson and Holly and her husband: Rod Bray of Carrollton. Grandchildren are: Camie and her husband: Jack Hughes, Andy Reeves, Catrina, Wesley and Amanda Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Matthew and his wife: Heather Vincent, Lindsey and her husband: Shane Seroyer, Jeffrey and his wife: Heather Reeves, Brady and his wife: Macey Reeves, Matthieu Reeves, Danny Reeves and Trey Stapleton. 10 Great Grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Douglas Reeves of Midlothian, Jerry and his wife: Frances Reeves of Cedar Hill, Don Reeves of Cedar Hill, Marjorie Nell and her husband: Robert Goodnight of Waxahachie, Geraldine Forner of Mansfield and Juanita Starnes of Mansfield, TX, along with a number of cousins, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto.
Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, Texas 75115. Chaplain Denny Burris, officiating.
Interment: Ovilla Cemetery.
