Funeral: Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 1 p. m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2418 Brown St., Waxahachie, TX 75165 (972.937.2211) Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX Brent came to the area in 1968, attended University of North Texas, married Janis in March of 1970. He had a varied background, having worked for Sears as a designer and he received two international awards for design while there. Finally he owned Bugs Out Pest Control until health caused him to retire. He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Janis of Midlothian, sons: Scotty Curl of Frost, TX, and Kel Kimball of Corpus Christi, TX, daughter: Lynette Lansford of Ft. Worth, TX, 9 grandchildren: Nathan Lansford, Aaron Lansford, Krysten Buffington, Lauren Green, Hailey Kimball and Jill Kimball, Jason Curl, Thomas Curl and Crystal Ackley, 18 great grandchildren, and sister: Jenny Corbridge of Layton, Utah.
