Survived by: Husband of 61 years Robert Walker; Daughter: Pamela Kay Walker; Brother: Gene Eastus, Sisters-in-law: Rosemary Carter & Husband Rick, Carole Ann Youngblood & Husband Garland, Linda Cannon & Husband Richard; Brother-in-law: Tobie Pierce; Nieces: Laura Sherman & Husband Bryan, Christi Seibert & Husband Randy; Nieces: Paula Cannon, Veronica Pierce, Erika Eastus; Nephew: Rob Youngblood & Wife Darby, Teddy Eastus and many loving Cousins: Special thanks to Vicki Martinex & Husband Kenny, Milton Bergman & Wife Carol for keeping the cousins updated during Carole’s latest illness. Friends from her many years playing bridge. Her close friendship with other teachers especially fellow math teachers as well as the administrative staff. Neighbors who have helped beyond belief: Sue Slonina, Bruce & Kathy Benson, special lifelong friend who was there almost every day to love and encourage: Nancy Cole. I also want to thank Pam’s BFF Diane Smith. Diane is Pam’s rock.
Education: Carole was a proud and talented teacher for 35 years teaching in Dallas and DeSoto in addition to also teaching several years at Cedar Valley Jr College, retired and went back for 2 more years at the high school after retiring. Carole loved and respected her students and was a proud sponsor of many outside activities after school. Carole’s education included Proudly Graduating from South Oak Cliff HS 1960, Attending East Texas State, Graduating from North Texas State University and getting her master’s from Southern Methodist University. Carole was a lifelong learner. Carole was a proud member of the KD Sorority.
Carole was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and teacher.

In lieu of flowers donations to First United Methodist Church, Salvation Army, Epilepsy Foundation in Carole’s name or Charity of Choice.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Februar y9, 2024 at First United Methodist Church, 310 Roaring Springs in DeSoto, TX 75115
Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Church, with interment to follow at Rhodes Cemetery in DeSoto.
