Carolyn Hill English

Carolyn was born in Union Point, Georgia. She passed away at Methodist Charlton Hospital in Dallas following a lengthy illness. She was of Protestant faith and attended the First united methodist Church of DeSoto. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years: Russell D. English, daughters: Connie English Robertson and Susan English Owens, her husband: David, three granddaughters: Crystal, Beth and Jessica, and one great granddaughter: Cosy, sister and brother-in-law: Martha and Ralph Copeland and niece: Donna Hardin. Memorial Services will be held at 1 P. M. Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Strempke, officiating. Memorials are encouraged to the American Cancer Society.
