She was born in Grapevine, Texas on November 13, 1949, to her loving parents Alfred and Clifford Schreiber. She grew up in Waco, Texas, and graduated from Richfield High School in 1968. After she finished her secondary education she held several administrative positions until she retired. She had a strong work ethic and was appreciated for her dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond. In her younger years, she was a talented pianist. She loved sewing and made many of her clothes during high school. She also inherited her mother’s fondness for bowling and baking. She was a daughter, wife, and mother that was dearly loved. Besides her children, she was a mom to an army of their friends. They all loved her, but also had a healthy fear of her, in the best of ways. Carolyn was known for her unique sense of humor and sassy personality. She gifted all those who knew her with laughter and stories to share for years to come. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Patrick Ryan Macy, and her husband Charles Matchett. We know that she is happy to be reunited with them and all her other loved ones, but most of all with her beloved furbaby Coco, who was her favorite. She leaves behind her children Renee, Sue Ellen, and her husband Justin, James, and Tracy. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lindie and her wife Bailey, Amber and her spouse Austen, Christian, Dylan and his wife Aubrey, Jacen, Travis, and Kade as well as nine great-grandchildren whom she loved so much. She also leaves behind several dearly loved cousins. There are not enough words to describe what she meant to all who knew her. She made an impression wherever she went and her absence will be felt deeply. Love you forever.
