Ceceil James "Squid" Olson, 85, U S Navy Air, AMS1, Ret., of Glenn Heights, TX passed away on January 05, 2014. Mr. Olson was a 50 year member of the Sam R. Hamilton Masonic Lodge, charter member of P.E.R. DeSoto Elks, member of the Hella Shrine, SPJST and a Veteran of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife: Betty Lea Olson, son & daughter in law: Monty & Cindy Olson; son: Randy Olson; grandchildren: Coty, Cory & his wife Shannon, Chase & his wife Molly and Chad; great granddaughter: Hadley; sisters: Eldora Carter and Rhonda Thomas. The family will receive friends at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Thursday - January 09, 2014 from 9:30 A.M. till 10:30 A.M. at which time a procession will leave in route to the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211 for Graveside Services with full Military Honors at 11:30 A.M. with brother in law Jimmy Wagner, officiating.
