76, a pioneer DeSoto family, Veteran of the U. S. Army and retired surveyor for Mobil Pipeline. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Emella of DeSoto, daughter and son in law, Charlotte and Mark Vaughan of Maypearl, grandchildren, Cydney and Conner Vaughan, special nieces and nephew, Teresa, Karen, Curt and Debbie, and great nieces and nephews, and numerous special friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at WEST/HURTT Funeral Home and Services will be held at 2 P. M. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Cold Springs Church of Christ, 2710 W. Main St., Lancaster, TX 75146. Interment will follow in the Vincent Cemetery in DeSoto. Pallbearers are Larry Pogue, Jimmy Pogue, Jim Barrett, Billy Wayne Crouch, Curt Sharp, James Harold Blackmon. honorary Pallbearers are Cydney and Conner Vaughan. Memorials may be made to the Vincent Cemetery Association or the Geneology Program at the Dallas Library.
