70, of Glenn Heights, TX
Charles Omer Blanford
was born October 14, 1942, in Kentucky to Mary Baker Blanford and Charles Edward Blanford. He passed away after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. Charles is survived by his children Juanita Williams, James Williams, Lawrence Williams and Charles Lance Blanford, as well as his sisters Betty Lou Thomes, Gayle Wolford, Pat Blanford and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Peggy Ann Edwards Blanford. ”Charlie” graduated high school in Port Arthur, Texas and was a long time resident of Glenn Heights, Texas. Both he and his wife Peggy retired from Texas Instruments. He requested no services , he lived everyday in a way that goodbyes would not be necessary for people he loved. A very compassionate man, he gave much of himself to family as well as strangers. He taught us that our giving and heartfelt kindness was worth much more than things we amassed. He will live long in our memories and the life lessons we learned from him will be passed on to future generations.
