Charles H. Wesson II (Chuck), passed away, from a short battle with Cancer, August 30, 2023. He had two children, Holli Wesson Lampkin, Morgan Wesson and seven grandchildren. His sister Melinda Wesson Moon, brothers, Mike Wesson, both from Miller Grove, Texas, and Bobby Wesson of Lawrenceville, Georgia. His wife Nancy Hyndman Wesson. His mother-in-law Georgia Hyndman. Plus multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother and sister-in-laws. His parents preceded him in death, Charles H. (Chuck) Wesson II and Glenda Brown Wesson. He loved his family so much. His only wish was to get to see his “People” as he called his kids and siblings. His wish was granted. They came to his bedside almost immediately. He smiled and knew everyone. He stood up and hugged all the grandkids, one by one. One year out of high school, David W. Carter, Dallas, TX, he joined his beloved Marine Corp. Quoting him: “You are never an Ex Marine, you are a former Marine”. He poured concrete for a couple of years, with his high school buddy. He later started working in the IT field, before there was even a term for it. He worked for Texas Commerce Bank which changed to Chase Bank. In 2008 he was laid off from Chase during the recession. He then worked for Dallas Independent School District in the IT department, until retirement. Nancy and Chuck re-met, after 29 years out of high school, to plan the 30th Carter High School reunion, class of 1972. They were on the Reunion Committee from then on. It is a love story to be sure. They were married for 21 years. They also have multiple friends from Lake Fork, in East Texas. They have had a travel trailer there for 13 years. He was a wonderful husband, friend, and brother. Anyone who knew him would say he was a good, good man. He truly was. He is, and will be, missed greatly. When someone passes away quickly without warning it is shock and disbelief. He is now in Heaven, and without pain. Graveside Services will be private. Celebration of Life and Reception scheduled October 6, 2023, 2:45 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. American Legion Post 424, 3940 S. Ledbetter Dr. Dallas, TX. 75232.
