Charles Glenn Cundiff

79, of Dallas, TX passed away on June 03, 2010. Charles was born in Dallas, Texas and lived most of his life in the Dallas area except for a time in the Abilene, TX area and during the Korean War. He was a member of several Baptist churches including Beverly Hills Baptist church, Hampton Place Baptist Church, before joining Hampton Road Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army, and loved to play church and semi-pro softball. He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Teddie Jo Cundiff, son, charles Blake Cundiff of Troy, N. Y., sister, Dorothy Pearl West of Rowlett and brother, Rickey Carl Cundiff of Weatherford, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, June 08, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. in the chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry R. Raines officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. The family will gather from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at the funeral home to receive friends. Memorials are encourage to the Alzheimer's Association, 4144 N.
