Charlotte Ione Wynne

Was called home by the Lord at the age of 66, on August 16, 2013. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband: Mangum Val Wynne in 2002. She is survived by her brother & sister in law: John Maurice & Linda Martindale; sister & brother in law: Sharion Elaine & William "Sonny" Johnson; sister: Marion Kay Martindale; sister: Martha Lynn Martindale Ledbetter; she is also survived by Val's children: Gary Wynne & his wife Linda Wynne; Nancy Wynne and Melissa Wynne Baldwin & her husband Greg Baldwin & their children: Sydney & Cooper and a host of nieces & nephews. Charlotte and her husband Val were in the Steel Business for many years, after retirement their love for the sea led them to buy and sell yachts, they lived in the Houston, California and Dallas areas. After her husband's death she devoted her life to serving her Savior Jesus Christ, she volunteered for Manna House in Midlothian and served in many ministry leadership positions at Gateway Church in Midlothian. She also worked part time for Life School District in Lancaster. Charlotte loved her family and will best be remembered for her tremendous ability to befriend everyone she came in contact with. There will be no viewing or visitation. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Gateway Church, 555 North Walnut Grove Road, Midlothian, TX 76065 at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday - August 24, 2013, with Pastor Jimmy Boggs, officiating. Interment will be private. It was Charlotte's request that in lieu of flowers memorials or donations be made in her name to the Gateway Church.
