Christy and Billie had three children Mark, Juli and Amy. His parents, Billie, Mark and Juli preceded him in death. He loved his children dearly and enjoyed attending all of their school and sporting events, as well as, teaching them to fish and hunt, maybe so he could fish and hunt more. After retirement he worked part-time for 22 years at Woodmont Cabinetry in Builder Relations until the day he passed. Christy loved duck and deer hunting and fishing with his family and friends his entire life, with hundreds of stories to tell… or not tell! He also was also able to attend his grandsons’ school and sporting activities and bragged about them to anyone who would listen as a proud GDad, his favorite name! He was an active member of the Desoto Methodist church for several years, his specialty was selling fundraiser raffles. He is survived by his daughter Amy, son-in-law Greg Wallace, grandsons Jeffrey and Ryan Wallace of Arlington, grandson Jeremiah Hamman; daughter-in-law Pam Hamman of Houston, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Paul and Judy Landers, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
