David Edward Boubel, Sr.

72, of DeSoto, TX passed away on September 29, 2014. He was employed for 25 years with Texas Oklahoma Express (TOX) before opening his own diesel repair business. Mr. Boubel is survived by his wife of 51 years: Linda Boubel; daughter: Lisa Boubel; son & daughter in law: David Edward, Jr. & Alison Boubel; daughter & son in law: Amy Denise & Johnny Holmes; son: Philip R. Boubel; grandchildren: Amanda, Alissa, Alia and Noah; great granddaughter: Lily; brothers & sisters in law: Rev. Elton & Wanda Boubel and Paul & Joyce Boubel; sister: Alice Kneifel and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the West/Hurtt Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. on Saturday - October 04, 2014 with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. (SAME DAY) with Rev. Elton Boubel, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, TX.
