David Frank Vedral, 63, of Midlothian was unexpectedly called home Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born July 27, 1957 in Gregory, South Dakota to Dr. Donald F. Vedral and Glorianne Bergman. David was raised in multiple midwest states before his family settled in Duncanville, TX where he was a proud member of Class of ‘75. David went on to further his education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, GO BIG RED, and even further to obtain his law degree from Texas Southern. David then married the love of his life Barbara Lamb, on March 12, 1983, and was married 25 years until her passing. He was well known in the Best Southwest area of Dallas where he was extremely involved in all aspects of government and politics: a practicing attorney since 1980, a reserve Police officer in Cedar Hill for 25+ years, a city councilman, and even a judge. He was a devoted father who had a strong passion for family, soccer, Labrador Retrievers and his beloved drink of choice, Dr. Pepper! David was a man of many names: son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara, his father Dr. Donald Vedral, and his mother/father in-law, Mr. & Mrs David Lamb. He is survived by his children, Dillon of Richardson, Travis (Tyler) of Phoenix, AZ, Lacey of Springdale, AR, and Owen (Kelbi) of Midlothian, his mother, Glorianne Bergman of Cedar Hill, his brothers Steven of Sherman and Daniel (Tracy) of Ponder, his granddaughters London, Bristol, and Everly, his grandson Lennon, many nieces and nephews, and multiple friends.
