You have just read the basics, but to know the man was much, much more. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and spending time with them, he was protective, their rock and strength – but at the same time silent and unassuming. His passions were skeet shooting, guns, fishing, and golf. Don was also an exceptional business owner and operator, with a tremendous work ethic; this allowed him to be very giving and generous person to many people and causes at his Churches, DeSoto PTA, , DISD School Foundation, Canterbury School, Oak Cliff Charities, Rotary, and numerous other causes he found worthy. All of these things he did with such an unassuming manner. Don was a very special person that will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
