Doshia Jones

Doshia Jones passed away at her home on Friday Morning, October 11, 2019.   She was born in Kermit, TX on December 17, 1942,
She graduated from Aztec High School in Aztec, NM.  Arnold and Doshia had been high school sweethearts, Arnold graduated in 1960, Doshia in 1961, and they married July 25, 1961.   Doshia spent 34 years at DeSoto Independent School District,  she was a member of First United Methodist Church in DeSoto since 1973, and NOW Sunday School Teacher for 13 years.

Survivors: Arnold Jones (husband), Shari Eastwood (daughter), Scotty & Tara Jones (Son & daughter in law); Grandchildren Abby & Lucas Leal, Ethan Eastwood, Nathan Eastwood, Seth Eastwood and Dakota Jones; Nieces Patty Mueller, Linda Burke and Sandy Baron, Great Nieces & Nephews; Michelle McKinney, Holly McKinney, Cody McKinney, Michael Todd, Julie Ellis, Jill Baron & Scott Baron

Preceded in Death by: Artie B. Ashburn (father), Amanda Elizabeth Ashburn ( mother), Gerry Ashburn (brother), Ruth Ashburn (sister in law) and son in law:  Jimmy Eastwood.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at First United Methodist Church 310 Roaring Springs, DeSoto, TX 75115
