Dr. Geoffrey "Geoff" Hamilton, Ph.D.

Dr. Geoffrey Hamilton, Ph.D., U S Air Force Veteran of 15 years, of DeSoto, TX passed away September 17, 2022. He earned his Doctorate Degree from Florida State University in Audiology and Speech Pathology after being discharged from the Air Force. He also attended SMU, Dallas, TX. Dr. Hamilton worked over 35 years with the U S Government and in Germany. He was preceded in death by his father: Frank Horsfall; mother: Irene Hamilton Tone; sister: Carole Messer. Dr. Hamilton is survived by sister: Beryl Kerwick of Austin, TX; sister: Shirley Hamilton of Sherwood, OR; brother: Brian Y. Hamilton of Des Plaines, Il; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends including: Perry and Kim Wilburn; devoted friend and caregiver: Pat Brooks along with many supportive neighbors. Dr. Hamilton enjoyed traveling the world, watching and attending Formula 1 Car Racing, watching soccer, football and reading. He will be missed by all. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX on Wednesday - October 19, 2022 at 11:30 A.M.
