Thomas Duke Tunnell was born in Dallas, Texas, 75, long time Dallas resident, attended the University of Texas, served in the U. S. Air Force, worked on the Mariner 5 Space Program, and was in the Oil and Gas Industry for 40 years, past President of the Oak Cliff Country Club. Preceded in death by his daughter: Gina, Duke is survived by his “Honey”: Carol, daughters and husbands: Patti (Fred) Vanderploeg, and Babette (John) Welch, precious grandson: Duke Henry, sister: Mary Ann Walker and niece and nephew: Elizabeth and Charles Walker. He is also survived by Carol's children and grandchildren that loved him dearly: daughter: Dawn (Steve) Fitzsimmons, and son: Robert (Laurel) Placido, grandchildren: Kyle, Trevor, Karlie, Kira, Torin, and Keelin.
