Emella Blackmon

BLACKMON, Emella, 75, a lifetime resident of DeSoto, and retired from Southwestern Bell after 35 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Blackmon,her father, Leon Sharp, and her mother, Violet Allen Sharp, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mark Vaughan, grandchildren, Cydney and Conner Vaughan, nieces and nephews, Teresa, Karen, Curt and Debbie and many, many dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Friday until Services at 3 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2011 at the WEST/HURTT Funeral Home, Mark Vaughan, officiating. Interment will follow at Vincent Cemetery in DeSoto. Memorials may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
