Ernest Allen Laun

Born in Dallas, Texas to John Stephen and Jane Marie Benz Laun, Sr. He graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School, got his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. He practiced law in Dallas from that time. Mr. Laun was very active with the Dallas Summer Musicals. His passion was sailing. Mr. Laun is survived by his wife, Linda L. Ehlers, mother, Jane Laun, brothers, Walter J. Laun of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., John S. Laun, Jr. of Irving, and a number of aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. Memorials Services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 1324 Pleasant Drive, Dallas, Texas 75217. Memorials are encouraged in Mr. Laun's name to the Dallas Theater Center, 2400 Flora St., Eighth Floor, Dallas, TX 75201
