Everett Ray Davis, Jr.

Ray was a member of one of the DeSoto pioneer families, retired building contractor and a member of First United Methodist Church of DeSoto.He is survived by his wife of 49 years:  Wendy Davis;son:  David Davis;daughter & son in law:  Molly & Jason Voigt;grandchildren:  Courtney and her husband, Eric Johnson, Maddie and her husband, Eric Patterson, Laura-Lynn, Zachary, Braxton, Jacob and James;great grandchildren:  Eli and Cameron,and many other family members and friends.A Celebration of His Life will be held in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Friday - January 26, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. Jeffery Seif, officiating.The family requests memorials or donations be made in Ray's name to Wounded Warriors Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org)Please provide the charity with the family's name and address so acknowledgements may be sent.
