Frances Genell Mabry

Frances Genell Oates Mabry Born August 25, 1927 to Nathan E. Oates, and Bernadine Reese Oates. Passed away at her home in DeSoto, Texas on August 16, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Kim, son in law, Chris, grandchildren Christopher, Kristen, Ariel, great grandchildren, Jordyn, Brayden, Logan, Mckenzie, her siblings, Nelda, Marion, Joyce. Her career in banking was with Bank of Desoto, where she was head teller before her retirement. She was a wonderful cook, and had many talents with sewing, gardening, and crafting. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. She was the best mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could ever ask for. Even though she is extremely missed here in our world, Genell was a Christian, and is soaring high with the angels. Her family looks forward to the time when we will meet again. Thank you God for blessing us with this wonderful, sweet soul. Forever remembered, forever loved. A private memorial celebration will be held at her home at a later date.
