Francine Ehrhardt Holowak

88, of DeSoto, TX passed away on February 05, 2015.   An amazing woman, Francine was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Charles A and Cappie Wood Ehrhardt. She was widowed at 42 and over-coming this sudden loss raised her 5 children, owned a Tax Accounting business with three branches.  After retiring at 69, earned a college degree in Nursing at 71.  She was also the administrative assistant for the St. Francis of Assissi Parish in Frisco.  She has numerous poems that she has written and had published including: Oh, youth how vibrant is thy songLiving for thyself alone.Thou lives in dreams of what the future holdsEverything measured in terms of gold.Youth, thou thrives on earthly pleasuresMaterial wealth and social health thy treasure.As thou grows older, thy song slowly softens,Thy dreams in memory become more often.Everything now is measured by God's holy grace,Thy mind now dwells on a heavenly place.Spiritual wealth is now thy goalThat though mayest soon God's adorable face behold.                ...Francine HolowakFrancine was a member of the Society of Carmelite Nuns.  She is preceeded in death by her husband, Harry on February 8, 1969, and a twin sister, Maxine, and her parents, Charles and Cappie Ehrhardt.  She is survived by her children: Jane and her husband, William Hoffman of Houston, Becky and her husband, Gerry Dollinger of DeSoto, Peter Holowak of DeSoto, Jerry Holowak of Frisco,  Maria "Tisa" and her husband, Tom Bulin of the Woodlands.  Grandchildren: Jennifer Hoffman, Sarah Bulin, Steve Bulin (wife Breanna), Scott Bulin, Christina "Kris" Dollinger.   Great grandchildren: Michaela Hoffman and Veronica Hoffman, Brother: Charles "Sonny" Ehrhardt of Bristol, TX, Sister: Peggy Jean Francis of Bristol, TX, and a large number of nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. with  a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at WEST/HURTT Funeral Home (214.375.7457).  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Tim Gollob at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5004 Bonnie View Road (near Loop 12), Dallas, Texas (214.375.7457).  Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane , Dallas, TX 75220  (214-357-5754).  Memorials Gifts in memory of Francine can be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2926 E.
