Frank S. Mccoy

was born June 18, 1929 in Hooks, TX to Frank Stafford and Lois Burkhalter McCoy, passed away on May 06, 2012. Mr. McCoy lived in Nocona for 12 years before coming to DeSoto for 11 years, Irving for 26 years and Cedar Hill the last 6 years. He was retired Vice President with Hotchkiss Insurance Agency and a devoted Lifetime Member of the National Home Builders Association of the Greater Dallas Chapter. He was preceded in death by his wife Nettie Ann McCoy in 2009. Survivors include son & daughter in law: Dr. Joel S. & Sherry McCoy of Crowley, TX; daughter & son in law: Lezlie & Tom Rozier of DeSoto, TX; grandchildren: Sarah Ann Rozier, Rebekah Leah Rozier, Nathan Andrew McCoy, Katelyn McCoy and Pvt. 1st Class Samuel Thomas & his wife Jo Anna Renee Rozier; sister: Alice McCoy of Dallas, TX and a number of loving nieces and additional family members. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday night at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 (972.223.5070) with Dr. Gerald E. Marsh and Dr. Jerry R. Raines, officiating. Interment will be at Nocona Cemetery in Nocona, TX at 3:30 P.M. Those serving as pallbearers will be Nathan McCoy, Samuel Rozier, Bob Joiner, Jim Boyd, Doug Groves, Doug Hotchkiss, Kent Conine and Glenn Baker. Honorary pallbearer: Calvin Duckworth.
