Freddie Eugene Phillips

84, a U S Army Veteran of Korea, of Glenn Heights, TX passed away on February 28, 2016. Freddie was raised in Dallas, married in 1956 to Peggy Schleimer, and came to DeSoto in 1972. He was with Southwestern Bell and retired from AT & T. Funeral Services will be held on Monday - March 07, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCaleb of Kessler Park Baptist Church, officiating Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 A. M. on Monday, the day of the service. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX, Lane C at 1:30 P. M. Survivors include his sons: Jack and his wife: Melinda Ann Phillips of Midlothian, Richard Glen and Patty Schleimer of Lewisville, and his daughter: Vanessa Jill Phillips of Glenn Heights, grandchildren: Loren and Clay Schleimer and Price Phillips and Justin Davidson, and his sister: Joann Dandridge of Dallas.
