Frederick Allen Sherman

81, U S Army Sgt. in the Korean War, passed away unexpectedly on October 03, 2012at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of George and Gertrude Sherman, graduated from Holliston High School in Holliston, Massachusetts. Fred enjoyed restoring antique tractors and raising cattle in retirement from his demolition business in California. Besides his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his brother: Louis Sherman. He is survived by his daughter: Anna Jo Durbin; grandchildren: Teresa Holmes, Mark A. Durbin, Jr., Patrick W. Durbin and Joseph E. Durbin; great grandchildren: Brenda, Cathy, Katie, Charles and Heather; sisters: Leila Sherman Hanna & her husband James and Wilma Ghelli; brothers: George Sherman & his wife Fran, Ralph Sherman & his wife Luann and Paul Sherman & his wife Pam. The family will receive friends here at the Funeral Home on Tuesday - October 09, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at which time we will depart for a 1:30 P.M. Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX.
