Gary Don Sims

Gary Don Sims of Waxahachie, Texas was born to Ray and Shirley Sims on December, 13th 1958. Among the many things Gary has done in his life, he has spent the last thirty years traveling the country for communication infrastructure. Gary’s hobbies were playing guitar, watching sports, and upgrading his Mustang. When Gary was not on the road for work, you could find him in Texas visiting his children and grandchildren. Gary influenced people around the world and will be missed greatly. Gary is proceeded in death by his mother Shirley Cochran. He is survived by his children: Lee Hill (Isabel), Dustin Hill (Kati) and Chelsea Sims (Loren) And grandchildren: Jessie, Nik, Brody, and Kolton And loving friend: Evelyn Sims Letter From Kids: Gary, we will miss you so much but know you are happier where you are now. We are all thankful for everything you taught and gave us, both by words and example. We always looked up to your calm, faith-based wisdom in every aspect of our lives. We talk and joke amongst each other that you are our go to for everything and look to you for your opinion in most situations. This will be a void of wisdom, knowledge, and experience that not even Google could fill. We know you would not want us to be upset and hurt the way we are, but the world is going to be a harder place without you. We want you to know, you impacted us and everyone you met more than you realize. We credit the people we became to you. Thank you for being the best father and provider god could have given us.
