Geneva "Gebe" Creech

Mrs. Creech passed away on Monday evening, May 25, 2015 at her care facility in Cedar Hill after an extended illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 P. M. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Dallas First Church of the Nazarene, 825 N. Cockrell Hill Rd. at Pleasant Run Rd. in DeSoto, TX 75115. Memorials are encouraged to Emmanuel House, 73 S. Lasalle St., Aurora, IL 65050 Geneva was born on July 10, 1917 in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Harris Creech in 1993, and son, Rodney Harris Creech in 2009. She had been a member of Dallas First Church of the Nazarene for many years. Survivors include her daughter and son in law: Rhonda and Bob Childress of Naperville, IL, grandchildren and their spouses: Andy and Meg Childress of Villa Park, IL, Shelby and Sean Riha of Chicago, IL, Hayley and Lorent Meksi of Aurora, IL, Britney and Julian Prendi, William an Christina Creech, Randall Creech, Danny Creech, Debbie and Jim Helfrich of Aurora, CO, Terri Ecker of Phoenix, AZ, and Amber Anderson. She also has a number of great grandchildren surviving her.
