George Elmer Whitt

64, of Little Elm, TX passed away on September 08, 2013. Mr. Whitt was a Vietnam War Veteran having served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade - 2nd Armored Division. During his tour he received the Bronze Star for Heroic Action in Combat. His passion was riding his motorcycle. He was a constant joker filling his family with laughter and love. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday - September 12, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at 11:00 A.M. (on the same day) in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX. Mr. Whitt was preceded in death by a step son: Stephen Deal. He is survived by sons: Cary Donovan Whitt, and his wife: Robin, and Jaymeil Cameron Whitt, Sr., and his wife: Mindy, and adoptive daughter: Christie Whitt; step son: Michael Deal; grandchildren: Whitney Corin Whitt, Devyn Renee Whitt, Skyler Robert Whitt & Jaymeil Cameron Whitt, Jr. and many step grandchildren; mother: Virginia Dolores Kensinger; sisters: Sandra Zimmerman & her husband Larry, Judy Fields & her husband James and Angie Sheffield.
