Gerald Alan Draper

73, of DeSoto, TX passed away on March 31, 2016. Gerald was born in Dallas, Texas on August 18, 1942. He was a second generation Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clinton and Opal Draper, and sister: Halliephine and her husband: Marvin Armstrong, and his brother: Gary and his wife: Lily Draper. Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years: Beverly Draper of DeSoto, sons: Rickey and his wife: Tracie Draper of Red Oak, TX, and Scot Draper of Venus, TX, two grandchildren: Michael Draper, Jr., and Amanda Draper. He is also survived by two brothers: Harlan Draper of Lancaster, and Oderald Draper of DeSoto. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p. m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the funeral home, with Graveside Services and interment at 11:30 A. M. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Grove Hill Cemetery, 3920 Samuel Blvd. at Lawnview/Ferguson and I-30), Dallas, TX. 75228 (there will be a procession with escorts to the gravesite at 10:30 A.
