Gerald "Jerry" Elseman

Jerry passed away suddenly at his home on June 24, 2016. He was retired from the food sales industry after 45 years. He was an avid golfer, sports fan, woodworker, and enjoyed traveling. Jerry lived for his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Jackie Elseman. Daughter and husband: Jerene and Danny Ray of Coppell, son: Jeff and his wife: Laurie Elseman of Coppell, grandchildren: Blake and his wife: Stacey Ray of McKinney, Courtney and her husband: Sam Teer of Ft. Worth and Whitney and her husband: Caleb Cowart of Allen, great granddaughters: Hailey and Mattie Ray and Tessa Teer, sister: Janice Stralow of Tallahassee, FL. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A. M. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at First United Methodist Church 310 Roaring Springs, DeSoto with Rev. Kevin Strempke, officiating.
